Metal visionaries Battlesnake return with their fourth studio album, Bogpocalypse and the Annihilation of Lucifer. Darker, stranger and more apocalyptic than anything that’s come before, the album sees Battlesnake push their signature blend of metal, theatrical bombast and absurdist storytelling into new and deeply unsettling territory.
Featuring the singles “I Killed Satan” and “Mud Apocalypse”, Bogpocalypse plunges headfirst into a world of mayhem, Satan and mud. Bigger, heavier and more ambitious, the album sees Battlesnake expanding their sound without losing the reckless energy and absurdity that sits at the heart of the band.
Recorded in Prague during a three-week studio session in the middle of a six-week UK and European tour, the album was created with the band completely immersed in the process. The result is a record that feels expansive, ferocious and cinematic, while retaining the raw intensity of Battlesnake’s live performance.
With Bogpocalypse and the Annihilation of Lucifer set for release in February 2027, Battlesnake prepare to unleash their latest descent into the darkness. Think 90s Goosebumps novel with guns.
