City Calm Down – In A Restless House (10th Anniversary Edition)
A decade on from its release, In A Restless House still feels as poignant and cathartic as the day it landed.
The debut album from Melbourne’s City Calm Down carved out a bold space in Australian music, cementing the band as one of the country’s most compelling voices of the 2010s.
With singles like Rabbit Run, Son and Your Fix, its widescreen synths, driving rhythms and Jack Bourke’s unmistakable vocals, this record helped carry the band from sold-out clubs to major festival stages, including Splendour in the Grass.
Ten years on, the record’s themes of restlessness and release continue to resonate, still finding new listeners while holding deep meaning for those who were there from the start. To celebrate its enduring impact, In A Restless House returns on limited edition transparent orange vinyl, a striking anniversary pressing of a modern Australian classic.
